One of the best parts of my jobs is getting to travel around the Philly area. I get to go to meetings and seminars and talk to people first hand. Sometimes I am hosting these meetings and workshops. Others I am going to talk with other experts in certain fields. Either way, attendees share with me what their organization is doing as their marketing strategy.
Among other inquiries, the most important one remains: How should publishers market their books to you as a reader? Should book designs factor in? Should they focus more on social media strategy for startups? Market more/less bonnet fiction(Amish books)?
When describing your ideal customer for your social media marketing list out the different things they would be interested in talking about, learning and sharing with others they care about.
Man social media strategy I hear that. I said the same thing over a year ago when this idea was first presented to me. The answer can only be one of two things: 1) Create the content or 2) BUY the content.
You must compress it to meet the restrictions of the site where you plan to upload it. Each video-publishing and sharing site you plan has different requirements and restrictions. You have to know all the restrictions and requirements of the sharing site you plan to use to house your video so that you’re videos are housed and social media startups compressed properly.
The Introduction will tell your audience 2 things: what you are going to tell them, and why it’s important. Write this out very simply at first. What is the problem they are having? What is the solution?
Social networking is a wonderful tool to use to build your business. It’s here to stay. Beware of the pitfalls. Be ethical. Build relationships. Have fun.
